[Japan Championship] Yuruchara 50m race will be held on June 30th, the last day of the tournament! ~Many local Niigata mascots will be participating~

The 108th Japan Athletics Championships (Paris 2024 Olympic Games) will be held at Denka Big Swan Stadium, Niigata Prefecture, from Thursday, June 27th to Sunday, June 30th, 2024.

Did you know that various open events will be held from mid-morning to mid-afternoon on June 30th (Sunday), the final day of the tournament? This time we’ll be introducing one of them, *”Yuruchara 50m Race”*! We would like to inform you that the participating characters have been decided. The finals of 12 events will be held as a prelude to the “battle of fate”, and who will shine to the top of Yurukyara! ?

The motif is the Niigata prefecture bird “Toki”, and it is
characterized by a round body that is friendly to everyone and a red heart on the face.
The red heart on the face expresses “excitement” and the passion (heart) of participation.
Toppy is always energetic and eager to take on challenges. Excellent athleticism! I love watching and playing sports.
