It has been decided that Kitri will be in charge of the ending theme song for the TV anime “Sister-in-law Life,” which is scheduled to begin airing on July 4th (Thursday). The ending theme song is titled “Aquarium Swing” and was written by Kitri based on the original work. The TV anime “Sister-in-Law Life” is based on a light novel by Ghost Mikawa, which has sold over 600,000 copies in total. Yuta and Saki have a cold view of family due to their parents’ divorce, but due to their parents’ remarriage, they end up living together under the same roof as stepbrothers and sisters of the same age. It is a daily drama work in which the relationship gradually deepens as the two live together. “Aquarium Swing” will be digitally released on July 10th (Wednesday). [Kitri’s comment] I am very honored to be in charge of the ending theme song for “Issei Seikatsu”. Becoming a family can sometimes give you a sense of security, and at other times it can create invisible walls. I wrote “Aquarium Swing” with the desire to peer into the relationship and feelings of two people that keep changing like waves, and to quietly watch the direction in which they are heading. In a world where we often see things in black and white, “sister-in-law life” is packed with things that cannot be easily expressed in one word. I’d be happy if this song, which doesn’t have any color yet, becomes colored in the colors you want through the story.
