Asahi Woodtech Co., Ltd. (4-5-10 Minamihonmachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka, President Tetsuya Kaihori)’s flooring for lodging facilities, “MESSAGE Hotel”, opened on June 1, 2024, Gran Co., Ltd. It was adopted by the Kobe Suma Sea World Hotel (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, Manager: Yukiko Hashimoto), which is operated by Vista Hotels & Resorts (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Sadanori Suda). “Kobe Suma Sea World Hotel” has become a hot topic as the first hotel in Japan to have a directly operated “Dolphin Lagoon” where you can enjoy interacting with dolphins. This time, 54 of the 80 rooms have been selected as “MESSAGE Hotel.”

It will open in conjunction with the opening of “Kobe Suma Sea World” on June 1, 2024. In addition to being the first hotel in Japan to have a directly-managed Dolphin Lagoon where you can enjoy interacting with dolphins, the hotel also has guest rooms equipped with aquariums, allowing you to enjoy the theme of “A holiday to dream about the sea.” All guest rooms have an ocean view, so you can enjoy the spectacular view of the Seto Inland Sea and the sunset from your room. It was designed by Ken Asai Architectural Institute Co., Ltd. Adopted product: Soundproof flooring for lodging facilities “MESSAGE Hotel” We use natural wood veneer sliced into 0.5mm slices on the surface of the product, providing accommodation facilities with a rich space surrounded by precious wood. In addition, we also offer “soundproofing performance” required for hotel floors, “ease of cleaning” to remove odors and stains from carpets, “hygienic performance” such as antiviral and antibacterial properties, and a carrying case. It has functionality that meets the unique needs of hotels, as revealed through our own research, such as its “abrasion and water
resistance” that makes it safe to use, and its “thickness similar to carpet” that is ideal for renovation work.
