Landport Announcement of installation of solar power generation equipment at Shinonome/Yasuda warehouse
As part of our efforts to reduce CO2 emissions, Yasuda Warehouse Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as our company) has announced the completion of Landport, which was completed in 2020.
We installed solar power generation equipment (hereinafter referred to as this equipment) at the Shinonome Yasuda Warehouse (hereinafter referred to as this property) and began operation on May 21, 2024.
At this property located in Shinonome, Koto Ward, which is a rare logistics facility in the Tokyo waterfront area, we will provide high-value-added logistics services that provide comprehensive one-stop services for medical devices, including repair and cleaning in addition to medical device warehouse functions. We have opened a base, the Shinonome Sales Office (Tokyo Medical Logistics Center), and are using it all at once.
The electricity generated by this facility, which will begin operation on May 21, 2024, will be consumed at the Shinonome office,
contributing to a reduction of approximately 90 tons of CO2 emissions annually.
The Yasuda Warehouse Group has set “contributing to a low-carbon, recycling-oriented society” as one of its key issues (materiality), and is continuing to take concrete measures to achieve its CO2 emissions reduction target by fiscal 2030. We will continue to promote this.
