*Currently, 29 groups and 109 people have applied to participate. The event is open to children with disabilities and medical care, as well as their siblings and families, and will be held in a well-equipped indoor hall. *

“COCOLON” (operated by EPO, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo, representative: Erika Saito), which provides learning, play, and information for children with severe mental and physical disabilities, their families, and their supporters, is organizing the “Kokone Festival”. ” will be held on Sunday, July 14th. This event is a sports day held in an indoor hall for children with severe mental and physical disabilities and their families. Currently, 109 participants from 29 groups have applied, and there are only 3 groups left until the capacity is reached, and we will be recruiting additional participants from June 10th. *

Sports day for children with disabilities, their siblings, and their families We hold events where children and siblings with disabilities can get active, interact with friends and family, and have fun participating. EPO, a specified non-profit organization that plans and operates child development support and after-school day services [Kokone], operates four offices in Tokyo, so the necessary environment and preparations are in place, and the service is held in an indoor hall. Because of the event, there is no need to worry about rain, medical care, securing power for medical devices, or changing diapers.

About EPO, a specified non-profit organization
In 2016, EPO, a specified non-profit organization, established Kokone, a day-care facility for children with severe mental and physical disabilities, in Tokyo*.
We currently operate three child development support offices and one after-school day service in Tokyo.
Utilizing our experience in supporting children with severe mental and physical disabilities and their families living in the community, we will launch an online community [COCOLON] starting December 2023* is operated. We will continue to create an environment where children with disabilities, their families, and siblings can live safely and comfortably, where it is easy to raise children, and where they can participate in fun activities.
