BANKAKU-Yaki-Shrimp Curry Bread
Sakakaku Sohonkyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokai City, Aichi Prefecture, Representative Director: Taisuke Saka) will hold an event at JR Nagoya Takashimaya from Wednesday, June 12, 2024 to Tuesday, June 18, 2024. BANKAKU
KITCHEN ~Shrimp, Curry, and Egg~” will be held.

Shrimp expert Sohonsho Sakakaku has developed a food menu using shrimp. This is the fifth time we have offered carefully selected new Nagoya gourmet dishes such as shrimp curry bread and shrimp curry.

The most popular “BANKAKU shrimp curry bread” has been significantly renewed, and “BANKAKU shrimp cutlet sandwich” has also been improved. In addition, the new menu “BANKAKU
“Shrimp Rice Croquette” is now available. All menu items will be available for takeout.

As a commemorative project for the 130th anniversary of Sakakaku Sohonkan, it will be held at LACHIC in Sakae, Nagoya from May 13th (Thursday) to May 30th (Sunday), 2021. We are selling a food menu using shrimp. Close to 4,000 customers have used our service, and it has been featured in many media outlets, including 7 TV programs and 6 newspapers.
Since the following year, we have been holding a one-week limited sale at JR Nagoya Takashimaya, and the last time we opened the store (June 2023), 3,700 people visited the store in 7 days. “BANKAKU
KITCHEN” will be held for the fifth time.

Sakakaku Sohon is the founder of Saka Kakujiro (Ban Kakujiro). The company was founded in Yokosuka (present-day Tokai City, Aichi Prefecture) in 1889 (Meiji 22), taking the surname and first name (Kakujiro). We make sweets that take advantage of nature’s bounty, centering on “Yukari,” shrimp rice crackers that were created by inventing “shrimp hanpei” that were presented to the Tokugawa family during the Edo period.
In April 2024, we will celebrate the 135th anniversary of our founding.
