AirX Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Satoru Tezuka; hereinafter referred to as “AirX”), which builds infrastructure that will become a source of next-generation air mobility such as helicopters and flying cars, announced on May 30, 2024. On Sunday (Thursday), we hosted 11 third-year junior high school students from Yasu Junior High School (located in Yasu City, Shiga Prefecture) on a company visit, and we visited the company with themes such as “The possibilities brought by flying cars” and “The importance of taking on challenges.” I gave a class.

At Yasu Municipal Yasu Junior High School, we aim to develop students who think deeply about themes with an eye to the future and prepare to devote their strengths to various social issues for third-year junior high school students. The purpose of this school trip was to make the students think about what Japan and the world would look like 20 or 30 years from now, and to help them imagine the roles they would play in the future.
For this reason, in addition to pre-search studies and tours of local facilities, we are planning to have opportunities to deepen our thinking by directly meeting and listening to people involved in the theme on the day. The visit happened.
