The Sapporo AI LAB, whose secretariat is Sapporo City, has been implementing the “Sapporo AI Dojo” practical AI human resource development and demonstration program since 2022, and has so far trained around 80 active engineers and students. We have conducted problem-solving AI human resource development (PBL) based on actual corporate issues, and have conducted proof of concept (PoC) of AI development for eight companies with business issues.
With the start of public recruitment for the “Sapporo AI Dojo Third Term” engineer course, we will begin recruiting program participants and actual business problems that will be the subject of AI project demonstration from June 10th (Monday)!

Sapporo AI Lab is an industry-academia-government collaboration organization whose secretariat is Sapporo City and the Sapporo Industrial Promotion Foundation.
“Sapporo AI Dojo” is a practical project started by Sapporo AI Lab in 2022 with the aim of fostering AI human resources in Hokkaido, gathering AI development companies, promoting collaboration between local companies and regional AI development. This is an AI human resource development and demonstration program.

Program participants (students) will gain practical AI development experience that cannot be obtained through classroom lectures, by conducting problem-solving AI human resource development (PBL) based on actual problems and data provided by companies. In addition, companies providing assignments can conduct proof of concept (PoC) of AI development, such as understanding the AI implementation suitable for their company and building a trial AI model, free of charge.
