The Macallan opens an immersive flagship store specializing in whiskey in Hong Kong
A three-story flagship store specializing in The Macallan has opened in Central, Hong Kong Island, designed by British architect Jamie Fobert.

On June 3, 2024, The Macallan (The Edrington Group Limited,
headquartered in Scotland) opened its first flagship store in Hong Kong, The Macallan House.

It stimulates the senses – sight, smell, touch, taste and sound – and immerses you in an immersive Speyside experience. This experience allows guests to appreciate The Macallan’s whiskey-making techniques and deep respect for nature.

The bar and dining area also offers dram tastings and a sophisticated dining experience.

Every detail in the store reflects the personality and spirit of The Macallan brand.
Copper walls – reflecting The Macallan’s unique small still and celebration of the River Spey.
Oak floor – a homage to sherry casks.
Red – An iconic color associated with The Macallan founder Alexander Reid. *Reed means “red” in Scots.
Albariza Stone – Celebrates the barren soil of Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, the home of the sherry that gives The Macallan barrels their character.
Collaboration with Artists – Demonstrates the brand’s dedication to the artist’s unparalleled craft.
Waving walls – a nod to The Macallan’s unique distillery roof and the beautiful Scottish landscape.
The Macallan House opens on May 11, 2024 and will continue to host exciting events and programs showcasing collaborations with artists, designers, luxury partners and more.
