This is unit furniture (combined furniture). It can be used as a single unit, and by stacking or arranging them, the unit can be expanded or rearranged to fit the space. It can also be used in a variety of ways, such as sitting on it as a stool or using it as a low table. Even when you want to change your room or move to a different location in 5 or 10 years, the unit can be changed to suit the new space and can be used for a long time. Enjoy the time and stories engraved on the furniture. As you use it, the edges will become rounded and the surface will change over time, showing signs of a long-term relationship. PANECO(R) was originally a clothing product. Unconsumed items, leftover fabric, offcuts, dead stock, used items, etc., were used as materials to be upcycled into new panels. Each panel has a different expression, with some markings and
irregularities. No two are the same, and all are extremely unique. After using it for 30 or 50 years, when it’s finally time to let it go, it can be collected again and recycled into PANECO(R). By repeatedly reusing and recycling, we will realize a circular economy and become sustainable furniture, free from the term “disposal.”
