On May 28, 2024, at Miura Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Matsuyama Head Office: Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, Representative Director: Tsuyoshi Yoneda), 66 children of Minori Private Kindergarten (Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture) (hereinafter referred to as “Minori Kindergarten”) 9 faculty members conducted an evacuation drill.
Minori Kindergarten is located near a tsunami disaster warning area, so if a tsunami warning is issued due to a large-scale earthquake, prompt evacuation is required. Therefore, we have designated our company as an evacuation site as a place where you can evacuate quickly and safely.
This training was held for the second time this year, with the aim of mutual cooperation, raising disaster prevention awareness, and improving disaster prevention capabilities so that we can evacuate quickly and safely when a tsunami warning is issued.
In this drill, we evacuated from the kindergarten to the grounds of our Matsuyama head office using two buses. The children were able to quickly evacuate to the evacuation site without any trouble with serious expressions under the guidance of teachers and our employees.
