Smartphone “BASIO active2” released from “J:COM MOBILE”
*Equipped with unique anti-nuisance call features such as “Confirm before answering” and “Trouble stop”*
Sharp has launched the BASIO smartphone for seniors, which is equipped with a unique anti-nuisance call function.
commercialized “active2″. It will be released today, September 4th, from JCOM Corporation’s mobile service “J:COM MOBILE”.
This device has a new anti-nuisance call feature aimed at preventing damage from special scams that are frequently occurring among seniors. When you receive a call from a number that is not registered in your phonebook or from an anonymous caller, you can use the “Confirm Before Answering” function to confirm the name and message with an automated voice before answering, or if the call is suspicious when the call is received or during a call. It is equipped with a full range of security functions, such as the “nuisance stop” function that automatically disconnects calls after an automatic voice by tapping a dedicated button when you feel the need to do so. In addition, “Call Recording (*1)” automatically records calls, allowing users to check the content of the call later.
Furthermore, it is the first in the BASIO series to be equipped with the “Osaifu-Keitai (R)” function. In addition to being able to use transportation IC card services, it also supports “smartphone electronic certificates (*2)” which can be used in the same way as My Number cards. By applying and registering for the use of a “smartphone electronic certificate” from the Mynaportal app, you can use your smartphone to perform procedures that would normally require a My Number card. You can conveniently use the multi-copy machine at a convenience store to obtain a copy of your resident card or seal registration certificate, or view drug and health checkup information using the app.
In addition, large, easy-to-press dedicated buttons for “phone” and “email” are placed at the bottom of the device to make it easier for first-time smartphone users to operate the device. The button lights up to notify you of missed calls and new emails. Adopts a 5.7-inch liquid crystal display. Easy-to-read and intuitive operation is possible with large fonts and a simple home screen.
