The second Harry Lambert and ZARA collaboration
“Harry Lambert for ZARA – Cutie Circus” will be released on September 20th.
About the Collection
ZARA and fashion stylist Harry Lambert’s second collaborative collection, “Cutie Circus,” will bring you a fantastic world of circus. Lambert draws inspiration from the “fun” of places such as circuses, beaches, and theme parks for this 70-item lineup. The colors and details are sprinkled with playfulness inspired by the circus, creating a vintage wardrobe that is accessible to everyone. The theme is “What I want to find at a second-hand clothing store right now.” Focusing on the 1970s, Lambert researches a large number of photographs and circus-related costumes, masks, and arenas, and uses them to express the chaotic worldview unique to “Cutie Circus” on a new stage.
Key Items
The collection includes polka dot shirt and tie sets, oversized tartan coats, and retro Harrington jackets. The palette and unexpected details are infused with Lambert’s unique flair and elements that his community loved from previous collections.
Circus-Inspired Pieces
A cropped blazer with a ringmaster-inspired design that looks like something out of a costume box, styled with a casual ringer T-shirt in place of a top hat. Reminiscent of a clown costume, these loose-fitting barrel-leg pants are crafted from corduroy and denim in sweet pastel colors. Furthermore, if you pay close attention to the details, such as the diamond-patterned knitted vest, the patchwork-style knits, and the humorous slogans, circus elements are incorporated throughout the collection. The “Free popcorn” logo also incorporates this meaning into the item.
Vintage T-Shirts and Collaboration
The key items in this collection are T-shirts with a vintage feel, recreated through fit, silhouette, and wash processing. T-shirts with striped patterns, slogans, and bright solid colors will bring a sense of elation to your everyday life when combined with other items. The main feature of “Cutie Circus” is an illustration created in collaboration with artist Aysha Nagieva. Based on Lambert’s research, her original illustrations uniquely express the world of the circus. “I had a lot of fun working with Harry and the ZARA team to turn ideas into reality, and I couldn’t wait to see how they applied the illustrations to the clothes. Usually, I mainly create oil paintings, but this time I created an illustration. We used watercolors to recreate the classic circus atmosphere while creating a modern look. It was a great honor to be a part of this collection, and it was a great idea for Harry. I am grateful to them for entrusting me with their realization,” says Nagiyeva.
