Event Overview
IMAGICA GROUP, along with its group companies such as IMAGICA EEX, PICS, ROBOT, IMAGICA Lab., Photron, IMAGICA IRIS, and Cosmo Space, will present “NEXT VISION JAPAN 2021 XR LIVE” on March 16, 2021, starting at 8 PM. This innovative online live event will showcase the potential of XR technology to deliver a new entertainment experience for the “New Normal” era. The event will be broadcast live from the iconic Geo-Cosmos display at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) in Tokyo and will be available for free on YouTube and other platforms.
Performing Artists
- Sanketsu Shoujo Sayuri: A popular 2.5-dimensional singer-songwriter who captivates audiences with her acoustic performances. Known for her debut single “Mikazuki” and collaborations with RADWIMPS’ Yojiro Noda.
- Cö shu Nie: A unique band blending delicate yet chaotic sounds with female vocals. They are known for the ending theme “give it back” for the anime series “Jujutsu Kaisen”.
- IxR from AKB48: A new AKB48 idol unit formed to explore the possibilities of VR and AR content. Members include Yui Oguri, Satone Kubo, Rei Nishikawa, Mizuki Yamauchi, and Maho Omori.
- Mizuka Ueno: Principal dancer of the Tokyo Ballet, known for her performances in classic and contemporary works.
- New Japan Philharmonic: A renowned orchestra known for its rich history and collaborations with global conductors and musicians.
