In order to meet this need, Antway has been developing Tsukuri-oki.jp, a home delivery service that delivers refrigerated side dishes made in a dedicated kitchen every week to households that are busy with work or household chores. In recent years, Senrei, a fishing company that has become our partner in this partnership, has faced the serious issue of a decline in the amount of fish caught in the local area. We were looking for ways to expand into new business areas. With this business alliance, Antway will build a new partnership following the business alliance with Kushikatsu Tanaka Co., Ltd. in October 2023. Both companies will leverage their respective strengths to proactively expand the services of Tsukuri-oki.jp. [Contents of business partnership] “Tsukuri-oki.jp” started its service in February 2020 in the four wards of Tokyo, and by October 2024, the cumulative number of meals provided exceeded 16 million. As the manufacturing base for “Tsukuriokki.jp”, Antway will provide its manufacturing know-how to its partner Senrei and expand its service area. Senrei is produced by “Tsukurioki.jp”, a Tohoku region of Tohoku, adding newly provided manufacturing know-how to the marine products processing know-how and state-of-the-art equipment cultivated in Onagawa Town, Miyagi Prefecture, which is known for its rich variety of fish. We will continue to operate as a manufacturing base in the area. Additionally, with this business partnership, we aim to help increase local employment and revitalize the local economy and fishing industry.
