[Investigation method] Survey date: November 5, 2024 Survey target: People who apply for overseas travel on the applicable departure dates (December 27, 2024 to January 5, 2025) through HIS Target products: HIS tours, dynamic packages, air tickets (excluding lodging only) Calculated from the number of reservations excluding the number of cancellations as of the survey date Market environment  The travel market is taking advantage of the booming inbound travel to Japan, and the number of scheduled international flights has recovered to pre-coronavirus levels, although there are regional differences. While the tourism industry has grown into an important industry that drives the Japanese economy, there is a need for measures for sustainable tourism, such as addressing overtourism and etiquette issues.
