Press release: November 14, 2024 Kuju Distillery, the only single malt whiskey distillery in Oita Prefecture, will release the 5th and final New Born release “KUJU NEW BORN #5” on November 18th. “Newborn”, which commercializes the company’s own malt whiskey that has been aged for less than three years, concludes Kusumi, which is a blend of whiskey from multiple barrels, mainly bourbon barrels and sherry casks. The finish foreshadows the future of the distillery.

We have selected unblended sake that has been matured for less than 3 years. This is a blend of unblended sake that has been aged in the most various types of barrels among the newborns we have released so far.
