A joint press conference will be held to announce cycle routes spanning four prefectures in central Japan (Niigata, Yamanashi, Nagano, and Shizuoka)
*Date and time: Tuesday, September 17, 2024, 11:30-12:10 (scheduled)* The four prefectures of central Japan (Niigata, Yamanashi, Nagano, and Shizuoka) have recently launched the “Golden KAIDO” project, which focuses on the gold mines in each prefecture, in order to promote wide-area tourism.
As part of this project, we have set up a cycle route that connects the Toi Gold Mine (Shizuoka Prefecture) to the Sado Gold Mine (Niigata Prefecture).
In the future, the four prefectures will work together to announce the cycle route at a joint press conference in order to improve awareness of the route and expand the number of people interacting with the route.
