SVK Co., Ltd., a power generation SPC of Toho Gas Co., Ltd. (head office: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture) and Sun Village Co., Ltd. (head office: Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture, hereinafter referred to as the Company), has newly established a power generation SPC in Aichi Prefecture, Mie Prefecture, and Gifu Prefecture. We would like to inform you that we have concluded a power purchase agreement (physical PPA) to directly sell the electricity and environmental value generated at the Non-FIT solar power plant that we are developing. 1. Purpose of this case
Our company engages in corporate activities from an ESG (environment, society, governance) perspective, with the aim of realizing a sustainable society and increasing corporate value.
Since last year, we have been focusing on the development of Non-FIT solar power plants on a nationwide scale, and we have recently concluded a new power purchase agreement (physical PPA) for Non-FIT solar power generation with Toho Gas Co., Ltd. This is the Sun Village Group’s first physical PPA in the Chubu Electric Power area. In the future, we will continue to supply renewable energy in response to the needs of consumers, including companies and local governments that support RE100, and through the development of non-FIT solar power generation, etc., in order to realize a decarbonized society. We will strive to improve corporate value.
