Furisode KAPUKI releases new all-black collection “nocturne” *～A new long-sleeved kimono that you can freely choose according to your fashion sense～*
“KAPUKI” (Representative Director: Reiko Koshizuka / Meguro-ku, Tokyo), a kimono shop that has updated the tradition of furisode and is attracting attention for its obi belts and denim kimonos, has announced a new furisode collection called “nocturne.” . In addition, we will be holding an exhibition of new furisode designs centered around “nocturne” in Nakameguro, Tokyo from January 27th (Saturday) and in Osaka from early April.

This time, we will be announcing 10 different long-sleeved kimonos with a black theme. We offer various types of black furisode, from plain, hand-dyed and Yuzen to dots, stripes, and denim. The size and spacing of the dots were adjusted many times with the designer until they were completed, and all the designs are carefully original, and we hope that Reiwa girls, who have a high sense of fashion, will choose them based on their fashion sense. The new “nocturne” collection uses black denim for the denim long-sleeved kimono, which is synonymous with “KAPUKI”. It retains the casualness and ease of matching denim, while adding a sense of mode and coolness.
In addition, the lining and obi straps are coordinated with vivid colors such as pink and red, and the visuals, which are reminiscent of the runway, created with a team that is active in high-end fashion magazines, create a free and modern “nocturne”. I made it so that you can feel it.

KAPUKI’s long-sleeved kimonos are made using extremely high quality materials such as pure silk and domestically produced denim, and are made using the techniques of top craftsmen and brands. Furisode KAPUKI is made by an obi craftsman who has been in business for 285 years in Kyoto and collaborates with famous designers and architects. “Kondaya Genbei”, “Seiken”, which continues to maintain the delicate technique and consistent design that makes you feel the tradition of Kyoto Yuzen.
FDMTL is a Japan-made denim brand that focuses on denim produced in Okayama, fusing traditional Japanese designs with modern
sensibilities.

The new collection “nocturne” also includes Karaori obi made by Hondaya Genbei, Seiken’s Korin butterfly long-sleeved kimono, Kyogen’s Kikuyo butterfly family emblem, and more.
A denim long-sleeved kimono made in collaboration with FDML, and a floral-patterned long-sleeved kimono with a realistic flower photo created using advanced digital printing technology.
