LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (Head office location: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) collaborated with TuneCore Japan to hold an audition called “Battle to LuckyFes” for the right to perform at LuckyFes’24, and the final selection was made from among 1,928 songs submitted. We would like to inform you that 8 groups have been decided.

LuckyFes planning producer DJ DRAGON and LuckyFes chief coordinator Mana Mizumura joined the video judging as judges, and the sound source judging also included “persuasiveness of the performance in the video” and “can you imagine the performance at LuckyFes?” In the end, 8 groups were selected.
The eight teams remaining in the selection process will now proceed to the final screening, which will be held live with an audience at a venue in Mito City on Sunday, May 19th. DJ DRAGON and LuckyFes production producer Hideki Yazawa also participated in the judging, and the three groups that received the highest evaluations from the judges and the audience were selected to compete on July 13th (Sat), 14th (Sunday), and 15th (Monday/holiday). We will be performing on stage at LuckyFes’24, which will be held at Hitachi Seaside Park during the holidays. He is also scheduled to serve as a personality on LuckyFM’s program “IBA Lucky MUSIC.” The status of the audition will be announced on “IBA Lucky MUSIC” and LuckyFes’ official X, so please keep an eye on this heated battle!
In addition, the audition program “Idol to LuckyFes”, in which four idol groups will battle for the right to perform on the LuckyFes stage, will start from April 7th (broadcast every Sunday from 11:00 to 11:30). The personalities will be represented by Yumeno Higa (Palette Parade), Mion Shirotani (Sayonara Stay Tune), Kurumi (Ioke), and Suzuka Ishihara (Maybe ME), representing each group. The four groups are scheduled to perform at LuckySpace at LuckyFes’24 as part of the judging, so let’s get excited and bring our favorites to the LuckyFes stage!

LuckyFM is the only commercial broadcasting station that covers Ibaraki Prefecture on FM94.6MHz/88.1MHz.
