Rajeen General Incorporated Association (Headquarters: Suita City, Osaka Prefecture, Representative Director: Yumasa Ueba) will carry out an international exchange project through radio calisthenics and sports in the Japanese community of Brazil in early February 2025. Through “Radio Exercises”, a traditional Japanese culture that allows people to communicate using only their bodies, we will create a space where diverse subjects can connect regardless of their nationality.
Radio exercises as a means of international exchange

It is said that radio calisthenics can move approximately 400 muscles and 200 bones throughout the body. Radio Exercise No. 1 is only 3 minutes long. Radio calisthenics is an extremely efficient exercise that allows you to move your entire body in just 3 minutes. Even now, there are many enthusiasts in Japan, and radio calisthenics is used to improve health.
On the other hand, there are regions overseas where Japanese radio calisthenics is practiced, and it is especially popular in the Japanese American communities in South America. Therefore, radio calisthenics can be used not only for health promotion, but also as a means of international exchange. Through radio exercise, which allows you to communicate using only your body, we will overcome language barriers and promote international exchange.

In collaboration with the local sports association, we not only allow our traveling members to have international exchange locally, but also connect Brazil and Japan online so that those in Japan can also engage in international exchange through radio calisthenics. By implementing radio calisthenics and sports that can be practiced by both Japanese and Japanese-Brazilians in the same way, we provide an opportunity for local Nikkei to reaffirm their own identity, while also reminding Japanese of their differences with Nikkei. We aim to help them understand the things they have in common, and to bring them closer to each other.
Radio exercise 1 million people project underway

The “Radio Exercise 1 Million People Project!” is also registered in the “TEAM EXPO 2025” program/co-creation challenge at the Osaka/Kansai Expo.
The international exchange project in Brazil will also be held as part of the “Radio Exercise 1 Million People Project,” with the aim of creating a community space that connects people, regardless of their nationality.
“International Exchange x Health” Event

We will be hosting “Festa!” We are planning a booth exhibition and stage program related to international exchange and health. In the stage program, as part of the Radio Exercise 1 Million People Project, we will perform radio exercise and dance to the Osaka/Kansai Expo theme song with people who have roots overseas, as well as perform dances and music from overseas. It is also positioned as a pre-event for international exchange projects in Brazil.
