The traveling exhibition commemorating the release of “Yuzuru Hanyu: The Solitary Driving Force” was held at six bookstores nationwide, including Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore (Tokyo), Miyagi, Osaka, and Saga, and was very well received. The oversized tapestries and panels exhibited there will make a triumphant return to the Asahi Shimbun Tokyo headquarters in Tsukiji, Tokyo. The period is from April 2nd (Tuesday) to April 13th (Saturday), 2024. Please do not miss.

The first thing that catches your eye as you enter the concourse is the so-called “Red Magma,” which was a big hit at the traveling exhibition. You can enjoy a unique piece taken by photographer Mika Ninagawa that can only be seen here on an extra-large tapestry measuring 1,530 mm in height and 2,150 mm in width.
Furthermore, with the cooperation of the fashion brand “YUIMA NAKAZATO”, actual red magma will be displayed next to the tapestry. You can get a close look at the pieces created by up-and-coming fashion designers.

There is also a “100 questions and 100 answers” included in the photo book. In the third window, we have also decided to display Mr. Hanyu’s handwritten autograph and the actual selfie photo taken on the photo book band. This is a valuable opportunity for you to experience the life of a photo book and the behind-the-scenes aspects of its production through this exhibition.
