Cloud attendance management system “Smaregi Time Card” now offers functions compatible with the 2020 fixed tax reduction
*~Make increasing payroll calculation tasks more automated and efficient~* SmaRegi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka, Representative Director: Dr. Yamamoto, hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) operates cloud POS register “SmaRegi” that uses tablets such as iPads. has released a function to support the fixed tax reduction system that will start from June of this year in its cloud attendance management system “Smarti Time Card”.
Fixed tax reduction is a policy decided by the government in the fiscal year 2020 tax reform for the purpose of reducing the burden on households due to price increases. If the system does not support fixed-amount tax reductions, the following tasks will occur during payroll calculation operations, which is expected to increase the operational burden.
– Calculate the tax reduction amount for each employee and calculate and manage the amount of tax to withhold.
– Calculate and manage the monthly fixed tax deduction carryover amount for each employee (if the amount cannot be deducted from the pre-deduction tax amount, it will be carried over to the next month) – Year-end adjustment taking into account the above deduction amount “Smaregi Time Card” centrally manages everything from employee attendance management to payroll calculation and bookkeeping on the cloud. We can easily respond to legal changes by updating the system without requiring any effort or cost on your part. With this fixed tax reduction, we can expect a reduction in the burden of the above operations.

This update specifically enables the following support.
1. Determination of eligible employees We will automatically determine which employees are eligible for the fixed amount tax reduction among employees currently employed as of June 1st. 2. Automatic calculation of tax reduction The amount of tax reduction will be automatically calculated for eligible employees based on information on spouses and dependents.

Automatic tax reduction processing Tax reduction processing is automatically processed from monthly salaries and bonuses (*). (*) Only income tax will be reduced. Resident tax is based on the “Notification of Resident Tax Determination” issued by the
