Behind this breakthrough is the existence of a corporate community called “SOCIO”, which was introduced in 2023 and is comprised of eight local companies, which uses sports as a hub to increase regional value.
The players, staff, and local management, including team executives, have worked together to create a strong team that is supported by the local community and can revitalize the community, and we have received support from many local residents and local businesses. I received it. Now that we have reached the milestone of winning, we would like to give back to the community as a way of giving back.
Mr. Yuki Tanaka, CEO of Sango Construction Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sapporo, Hokkaido), a SOCIO member who sympathizes with our thoughts, has announced the opening of “Ametsuchi by 35stock”, an onigiri cafe that focuses on Hokkaido ingredients. After taking over the business, and with the full cooperation of Sango Construction, we rebranded it as a hub where local residents and companies with ties to Hokkaido can support each other, leading to the launch of Yesterday Community Cafe. For the Hokkaido Yellow Stars, who are based in Sapporo, it is now possible to disseminate real information, and it has become a place where local people can get to know the team and players more closely. Meals at the community cafe, with the catchphrase “#Eat and support,” will lead to support not only for the Hokkaido Yellow Stars but also for the entire local community. Several local companies, including Sango Construction Co., Ltd., the team’s owner company, and Uno Farm Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Teshio District, Hokkaido, Representative Director Tsuyoshi Uno), Numata Town, Hokkaido, which has a partnership agreement regarding regional development and sports promotion. As a hub for collaboration with local governments in Hokkaido, we will develop new menus and services.
