Launched “Driving Brain Power Checker” that can be checked in 1 minute
NeU Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Kiyoshi Hasegawa, hereinafter referred to as “NeU”) provides a “Driving Brain Power Test” that can easily check the cognitive functions important for driving in one minute, targeting companies whose business involves driving. We are pleased to announce that we have started providing the “Checker” service from June. “Driving Brain Power Checker” was designed with the concept that even busy drivers can easily check their safe driving ability in a short time.
Operation image video The driving brain power checker scores the following six items that support safe driving ability.
1. Ability to quickly detect and respond to the behavior of vehicles in front, etc.
2. Ability to quickly detect and respond to unexpected situations from the surrounding area
3. Ability to perceive danger from a wide perspective
4. The ability to sustain attention
5. Ability to not overlook danger
6. The ability to resist impulses
[System configuration]
Only available on 10-inch tablet devices* with the dedicated app installed. *Internet network environment required.
It is assumed that it will be implemented at a business office, and the space required for installation is about A4 size.
[Operation method]
– Login IDs for the driving brain power checker will be provided for each person. *Tablet devices are available for loan.
– Start checking after logging in with your ID.
– Check execution (quickly only when the specified mark is displayed while looking at the center of the screen)
(tap the screen). The check takes about 1 minute.
– After completing the check, display the result screen.

Two types of results will be displayed:
*1) Results displayed on 6-axis radar chart*
*2) Visually display overlooked areas*
[Utilization of data]
The implementation data is stored in the cloud, and it is possible to record score trends for each office and individual over a long period of time.

“Driving Brain Training” is a program that trains the brain functions necessary for safe driving. This is a service that can improve your driving skills by increasing cognitive functions such as mental rotation, attentiveness, and predictive power by practicing for about 3 to 5 minutes a day. The number of employees has been increasing since last year, and this is becoming a necessary initiative to promote health management in the driving industry.
By using the “Driving Brain Power Checker” as a regular check to measure the effectiveness of this “Driving Brain Training,” we believe that it will be possible to more objectively understand the effects of improvement.

Cognitive function is affected by the driver’s condition, such as poor physical condition, fatigue, lack of sleep, etc., so by quantifying and confirming changes in the driver’s condition, it could be used as a tool to prevent unreasonable driving.
In addition, if the score continues to decline over a long period of time, it may indicate a decline in cognitive function, making the driver aware of changes in cognitive function.
