Yamaha Corporation has decided to participate in QSC, LLC’s “Q-SYS Technology Partner Program” in our professional solutions business (audio equipment for corporations). Additionally, the ceiling array microphone “RM-CG” that makes up our remote conferencing system “ADECIA Ceiling Solution” has received the Q-SYS certification badge.

“Q-SYSTM” is a general term for a system platform developed by QSC that integrates audio, video, and control. Audio, video and various controls can be managed in the cloud using standard network lines. As part of this partner program, we developed and verified a plug-in to incorporate RM-CG into the Q-SYS ecosystem in cooperation with QSC. This plug-in enables speaker-based camera switching using RM-CG’s multi-beam tracking commands, as well as configuration and connection by IP address, display of device information and status, tracking speed, and automatic per-channel Device control such as mix settings, microphone gain, LED mode, etc. is possible on “Q-SYS”.
Furthermore, by applying the plug-in “Q-SYS Automatic Camera Preset Recall” scheduled to be released by QSC in the future, “RM-CG” can be used as a “Q-SYS” plug-in without the need for additional programming. Can be used as part of the audio function.
