Sangi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Roslyn Hayman), which develops the No. 1* best-selling series of whitening, high-performance toothpastes, “Apagard,” is commemorating this anniversary to reflect on the importance of healthy and beautiful teeth. As such, August 1st has been designated as “Teeth are Life Day.”

To commemorate this “Teeth are Life Day”, we will hold an oral care seminar on July 2nd (Tuesday) at event venues in Tokyo and online. What oral habits can you start practicing now to age healthily and beautifully? This year, we will have beautician Towako Kimishima as a guest, and together with a dentist, we will share oral care tips that you can put to use starting tomorrow.

Ms. Towako Kimijima (hairdresser)
Born May 30, 1966 in Tokyo. As an FTC creative director/hairdresser, she is actively working based on her own beauty experience spanning over 20 years. “Arakan Towako” (published by Kodansha) was released in April 2013. A book that gives you a complete understanding of my lifestyle as a wife and mother, filled with interesting anecdotes such as family stories, promotions, and decluttering. Mr. Masaharu Kato (Director of Takanawa Dental Clinic)
Graduated from Tohoku University in 1990. Doctor of Dentistry. In 1998, with the opening of Takanawa Dental Clinic (Clinic Department), we began clinical research on dental care using hydroxyapatite. He is actively holding lectures, seminars, and writing activities for dental healthcare professionals both domestically and internationally. In the clinic, we disseminate “future health” based on an analysis of each person’s risk.

Akiko Misu (freelance announcer)
Born in Ibaraki Prefecture. Graduated from Nihon University College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. After working at a major temporary staffing company, he joined NHK Saitama Broadcasting Station. After becoming a freelancer, he appeared on numerous programs as an information program caster and sports broadcast reporter. Currently, he is currently working as a sports broadcast reporter focusing on the J League. In the spring of 2022, he will complete the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences, University of Tsukuba. She researches media relations and communication among female athletes, and also serves as a lecturer on “media relations training” for competition organizations and companies.
